Susan Lovelle, MD FACS
SpecialtiesDr. Lovelle provides a variety of aesthetic and reconstructive surgical procedures including breast enlargement and reconstruction and surgery related to skin cancer. Dr. Lovelle earned her M.D. from Columbia University in New York, and is board certified in plastic surgery. Before coming to Newton Medical Center she most recently served as an attending physician at two major medical centers in northeast North Carolina, including Outer Banks Hospital in Nags Head and Albemarle Health in Elizabeth City. A former professional ballet dancer, Dr. Lovelle was featured on Lifetime TV’s series, “Women Docs,” and appeared as a source-authority on breast reduction, scar and keloid management and skin care on North Carolina and New York television health programs.
