Paul Bogner, MD

Dr. Bogner graduated from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in 1977 and conducted his residency in general surgery at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City. Licensed in Kansas, he is board-certified in general surgery and certified by the American Board of Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Society of General Surgeons.

Prior to joining Newton Medical Center,
Dr. Bogner was a member of the active staff of Clay County Hospital in Clay Center, Kan., a member of the courtesy staff of Halstead Hospital in Halstead, Kan., and a member of Axtell Clinic in Newton, Kan. He has served as the medical director of the Newton Fire/EMS and has been a member of the active staff of Newton Medical Center since 1987 and Newton Surgery Center since 1990. Dr. Bogner is among the few general surgeons to utilize the da Vinci® robot.
