Laurie Coyner, MD
SpecialtiesBorn in Wellington, Kan., Dr. Laurie Coyner graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and went on to receive her medical degree from the University of Oklahoma. She completed her residency in psychiatry and a Fellowship in geriatric psychiatry through the University of Kansas School of Medicine — Wichita. Dr. Coyner treats a wide variety of disorders, including addictions, Alzheimer’s, bipolar, depression, domestic violence, eating disorders, phobias, post-traumatic stress, schizophrenia and suicidal tendencies. She specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, prevention and research of mental illnesses, including substance use disorders.
