His pioneering use of an implantable device to end snoring earned a Newton physician national recognition by Medtronic, a leading developer of products to treat people with diseases of the ear, nose and throat (ENT).

 
 
Newton Medical Center welcomes Kevin Paul Allen, M.D., ophthalmologist (eye - specialist) to its active medical staff. Dr. Allen provides a variety of diagnostic and surgical procedures related to eye disease. He is the first eye surgeon based in Newton in the more than a decade.
